Show summary and cast

Dual Survival is a long-running and highly popular American adventure and survival reality and documentary television show from the production company Original Media, which is at the moment broadcasting its seventh season on Discovery Channel in the United States. The reality series is executive produced by Brian Nashel, Daniel Laikind and Joshua C. Berkley. The show is narrated by Paul Christie. Season 1 of Dual Survival debuted on Discovery Channel on June 11, 2010.

In seasons 3 through 6, the adventure docuseries followed Matt Graham and Joseph Teti as they went through various survival scenarios demonstrating amazing survival skills: from being stranded on a desert island to being lost in a jungle. Starting with the current cycle, the show features a new duo or survivalists – Bill McConnell and Grady Powell.

Critical response and renewal hopes

Season 7 of Dual Survival premiered on Discovery Channel in the US on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT but the total episode count has not been unveiled yet. In the previous two cycles, the program has become one of the most-watched shows on the Discovery Channel, so the renewal for another season came as no surprise. The new chapter of the program has completely new hosts – Grady Powell, an ex-U.S. Army Green Beret and Bill McConnell, a self-taught wilderness survivalist. These two have a completely different set of skills and completely polar philosophies, so it would be very interesting to observe the dynamics between the two men as they find themselves in extreme scenarios. At the moment, there have been no statements yet from the network about the fate of the program, so visit our website for the latest news, or subscribe to our updates and receive an automated message when Dual Survival season 8 is announced.

Cody Lundin is suing Discovery for defaming him and protecting Joe Teti who threatened to kill him and the crew on several occasions.

Joe Teti lost his lawsuit due to Forged Combat Dive Diplomas. General Guest Testified that he NEVER signed even one of Teti's Fake and Forged Dive Diplomas.

Teti was fired from the Bolivia episode when he killed dogs and sliced up a cat,(not saving a cat), and for threatening to kill the crew. Discovery had to fly the crew out without telling Joe because they were all afraid of him killing them.

Honestly I would not watch the show when Cody was on it could not stand his arrogant ways. I loved Dave he rocked. Then Matt and Joe rocked bring them back they were an amazing team. Your ratings will sky rocket again guaranteed!!!! Bill and Grady seriously? Not even close horrible actors and crying survivalists..... I am not being mean but you had a great thing going then you brought two on that um could not hold a candle to Joe and Matt or even Dave and Cody? Bring back the magic you won't be sorry! It was the number one show watched now we're is it? Agian not being mean just honesty. It's like taking Parker off of gold ruch you wouldn't have a good rush right? Bring them back discovery !
