Basic info and storyline

Alaskan Bush People is an American real life and documentary family television series that is at the moment being broadcast on the Discovery channel in the United States. Directed by T.J. Shanks, the reality program is executive produced by Carter Figueroa, Paul Reitano, Terrence Sacchi and Elana Wertkin. A production of Park Slope Productions, the docu-series first came out on Discovery on May 6, 2014.

The reality series is centered on the Brown family that consists of father Billy, his wife Ami and their seven adult children. Billy is a naturalist who at some point made a life changing decision to live in the Alaskan wilderness. Public seem to have a never-ending fascination with all things Alaska. There are a number of reality and documentary shows on various TV channel featuring all kinds of aspects of living in Alaska that are consistently delivering very solid viewership.

UPDATED January 14, 2016: An exciting 8-part third chapter of Alaskan Bush People concluded on Discovery Channel in the US just a week ago, on January 6, 2016. The network has just officially announced the renewal of their hit family and adventure real life show for another run. The renewal decision came after the season finale delivered almost 3.9 million viewers for the network, making it the most-watched broadcast among all cable channels that Wednesday. Billy and his family will be back on the small screen later in 2016.

After a little bit of a delay, Discovery Channel has finally scheduled the premiere date for a new installment of one of their most popular unscripted television series, Alaskan Bush People. New episodes are set to hit the small screen in the US on Friday, May 6, 2016. The newest installment of the show will focus heavily on the Brown family’s recent medical scare and their ongoing legal issues. Back in January, Billy and Joshua were sentenced to 30 days in prison for providing false information on their tax revenue forms. When will we get Alaskan Bush People Season 4 in the UK? Waited with anticipation on 6 May but it never arrived in Europe. Please let us know the UK Season 4 date.
