Truth Be Told (also might be known under the original title “People Are Talking”) is a new American situational comedy television series that is scheduled to premiere soon on the NBC channel in the United States. The new comedy series was created and written by DJ Nash who also serves as executive producer on the show alongside Will Packer and Pam Fryman. The sitcom is a collaborative effort between Next Thing You Know Productions and Universal Television. Season 1 of the comedy show is expected to be launched on NBC in the US on October 16, 2015.
Truth Be Told is a new rather unfiltered comedy show about two young couples who live elbow to elbow and also happen to be good friends. Now, when we say “unfiltered”, we don’t mean “no censorship”. This is NBC, after all, not Showtime or HBO. These two couples are very different, although this does not prevent them from providing assistance to each other and be good friends. They share a lot of fun together and help one another with the difficult dilemmas and issues that almost every couple faces. The sitcom stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (from Saved by the Bell), Vanessa Lachey (Dads), Tone Bell (Bad Judge) and Bresha Webb (Hung). The storyline has drawn on the life of DJ Nash who wrote the series.
Season 1 of the new sitcom is scheduled to premiere on the NBC channel in the US on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 8:30pm ET/PT. The expectations for the show are rather high. It has been a while since we have seen a truly fun and addictive comedy series like Friends, for instance.
