There comes a season of catching bluefin tuna along the coast of North Carolina, and the local fleet is looking forward to start catching these giants. However, when northern ships called Hard Merchandise, Pinwheel and Hot Tuna go to the southern waters of its share of the quota, the local vessels are not very happy. This is a real war...

In the premiere episode fishermen of the North Atlantic are trying to get ahead of their competitors in North Carolina and to be the first who catch as much tuna.
