About the show
The Real Housewives of Orange County (abbreviated as RHOC) is an American reality television series that is currently airing on the Bravo network. The show was the first in The Real Housewives franchise and its success has allowed for the production of spin-off series based in Atlanta, New York City, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, Miami and Washington D.C. Season 1 of the RHOC premiered on Bravo on March 21, 2006. The show is currently in its tenth season. Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County is produced by Evolution Media, and executive produced by Douglas Ross, Greg Stewart, Alex Baskin, Bill Langworthy and Bill Fritz, along with Scott Dunlop, and Andy Cohen.
Season 10 of the RHOC premiered on Bravo in the US on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 9PM ET/PT. Original housewife Vicki Gunvalson returned along with Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador who are joined this season by the young and opinionated new housewife Meghan King Edmonds. Wife of baseball superstar Jim Edmonds, Meghan hails from St. Louis and is new to the OC. As Jim’s third wife, she is closer in age to her 17-year old step-daughter Hailey, than to her husband. Friend of the housewives, Lizzie Rovsek, will also appear in some episodes. The RHOC is showing no signs of slowing down. The ratings for season nine averaged 2.7 million total viewers per episode, which is pretty impressive.
