About the show
Botched is an American reality television series that is currently airing on the E! channel. Botched is produced by the Evolution Media production company (Vanderpump Rules, Prom Queens, Sin City Rules) and executive produced by Alex Baskin (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Private Lives of Nashville Wives), Douglas Ross (Big Brother, The Real Housewives of Orange County), Greg Stewart (Beverly Hills Nannies) and Mark Herwick (Freak Out, My Big Fat Revenge). Season 1 of Botched premiered on the E! channel on June 24, 2014 and consisted of eight episodes and a two-part reunion episode.
The reality series Botched follows plastic surgeons Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif as they "remedy extreme plastic surgeries gone wrong." The fans of the Real Housewives franchise should now these two men really well, because Terry Dubrow appears on The Real Housewives of Orange County (he is the husband of Heather Dubrow, one of the main cast members) and Paul Nassif used to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (he used to be married to one of the former cast members, Adrienne Maloof). The premiere episode of Botched drew in 1.2 million viewers to the small screen.
On August 5, 2015 Botched was officially renewed for a second season. Season 2 of Botched premiered on the E! channel in the United States on April 14, 2015. Season 2 began with reality star Tiffany "New York" Pollard asking the doctors to fix her botched boobs. Also, the doctors met with a transgender woman whose face was filled with cement; and Paul Nassif reconstructed a severely burned chin. There have been no official announcements from E! yet about a potential third season, but it is very likely given the viewer ratings of the series and the popularity of the subject matter. The second half of season 2 of Botched is scheduled to premiere on E! on Tuesday, October 6 at 9:00pm ET/PT. UPDATED July 4, 2015: Great news for the fans of the reality series Botched. Just a week before the mid-season finale of Botched season 2, E! Entertainment has renewed their breakout hit plastic surgery reality series for a third season. Season 3 of Botched is slated to premiere in the first quarter of 2016. So far, the second season is averaging 1.5 million total viewers per episode, so the renewal came as no surprise. The network has just revealed that season 3 episodes are scheduled to start airing in the US on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT.
