Silicon Valley is an American television situation comedy series that is currently airing on the HBO network. Silicon Valley was created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-Head, Office Space), John Altschuler (King of the Hill, The Goode Family) and Dave Krinsky (Blades of Glory, Extract who also all serve as executive producers for the series along with Alec Berg (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Michael Rotenberg (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Tom Lassally (Edge of Tomorrow). Season 1 of Silicon Valley premiered on HBO on April 6, 2014 and consisted of eight episodes.

The storyline of Silicon Valley revolves around six young men who found a startup company in Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley stars Thomas Middleditch as Richard Hendriks, T. J. Miller as Erlich Bachman, Josh Brener as Nelson "Big Head" Bighetti, Martin Starr as Bertram Gilfoyle, Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh Chugtai, Zach Woods as Donald "Jared" Dunn, Amanda Crew as Monica, Christopher Evan Welch as Peter Gregory (season 1), Matt Ross as Gavin Belson (recurring season 1, starring season 2), Jimmy O. Yang as Jian Yang (recurring season 1, starring season 2) and Suzanne Cryer as Laurie Bream (season 2).
