Women's fates are unique, even if their "mistresses” belong to the same privileged social class. This popular reality show depicts the lives – personal and professional – of a group of successful ladies residing in and around Los Angeles area. They live in comfortable and spacious homes, have expensive cars and wear fine jewelry and designer clothes. They can be seen in the most prestigious stores. These characters are different, and have reached their wealth by various paths. Some collects lovers, someone else directs all her efforts into taking care of the family and maintaining a cozy family nest, while others enjoy the results of having built a successful business. But the viewers also want to know what stands behind this irresistible luxury, what skeletons are hidden in the wardrobes filled with trendy clothes? What can these women do when they are pushed to the verge of a nervous breakdown or despair? It's not so easy to "fit in" in high society where everything must shine and sparkle from the external well-being.
